Most Cornell students don’t vote in Ithaca even though they have established temporary residence there. Although the crazies, who have no prospects or ability to cope in the real world, tend to nest there ,remain and use politics as futile therapy. Three or four hundred crazies can sway an election for city council in a small town. Most college towns suffer this phenomena.
