Read up on The Great Compromise folks, the only poor integration written into the Constitution as history has shown. The Founders had great aspirations at the time when our country was being put together but little did they know what would become of it, they couldn’t stand political parties in the sense we do today.
The best we can do today is repeal the 17th Amendment.
