“Show me the man and I will find the crime.” —Lavrentiy Beria, head of Stalin’s secret police
First, what did this guy do that was so bad that the powers-at-be want to put him away?
Does he know something that isn’t being talked about?
It’s very unusual that the state would want to go after him once he gets out.
Unusual? Most times, all it takes is for President Trump to have been in favor of someone being released from jail, to automatically and immediately, have liberals fighting to undo any good fortune for that ex prisoner.
Yes, they still are just that petty.
Lawfare.
Know your jurisdiction. He’s in one of the worst areas for it.
Yes, they want to wreck everything about Trump.
It just seems deeper than that about Santos. It is like he either knows something or had angered somebody to want to keep him away for the rest of his life.
Fortunately, NY AG Tish Jemima is a little busy at the moment....
New York State didn’t give a hoot after Santos was convicted in Federal Court. They’re only considering filing State charges against him now that President Trump has pardoned him. If that isn’t overreach and excessive use of power, I don’t know what is.
I think this was a very bad pardon. This guy was in for only something like 3 months, and was a flaming scumbag. I don’t recall ever reading about anything decent he had done, he just went full chainsaw, fraud splattered everywhere he went.
Of course they are . . .
Maybe somebody asked Letitia to pose for a second Big Bad Girl statue, but this time the Modeling Session will be, ‘Clothing Optional’.
“axed”
Dude - I just threw up in my mouth a little.
He wasn’t pardoned.
Absolute bullshit.
Trump has a soft spot for fraudsters:
George Santos, Michele Fiore, Trevor Milton, Jason Galanis, Carlos Wilson, Charles Kushner, Todd and Julie Chrisley, Paul Walczak, Scott Jenkins, Rod Blagojevich, Paul Manafort, Bernard Kerik, Conrad Black, Duncan Hunter.
Santos wasn't pardoned; his conviction remains on his record.
President Trump commuted his sentence to time served under his reprieve power.
-PJ
Thanks for the correction. His sentence was commuted.
“Show me the man and I will find the crime.”
Lawfare.
Oh yeah, he's a real charmer.

George Santos Sentencing: Full Timeline of His Crimes and Deceit
George Santos was sentenced Friday for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges.
Santos, who served as the representative for New York's 3rd Congressional district, faced 23 federal charges in 2024, and ended up admitting to filing false reports to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), stealing the identities of his donors to engage in credit card fraud, stealing political donations to purchase designer clothing, falsely claiming unemployment benefits, and making false statements to the House of Representatives.
In court, Santos was sentenced to 87 months (over seven years) and was ordered to pay nearly $375,000 in restitution and forfeit over $200,000 in ill-gotten gains.
Loyalty to the President is nice, but this guy is a walking disaster.
Here's a pic of Santos as the drag queen persona Kitara Ravache...in Brazil!
