$100 of Bitcoin invested in 12/31/2015 and sold in April 2025 would undergo a 19,681% gain.

the usual suspects out again going on about the end of crypto.

its function is still valid, whether bitcoins are $120k a piece or $10. it’s a transfer of financial value across the internet without oversight or tracking.

dollars to bitcoin (using current USD2BTC rates).
send bitcoin (small fee).
bitcoin to euros (using current BTC2EUR rates).

that’s the point regardless of the currencies.

like Perps. This casino-like financial instrument allows for 100X leveraged bets in an endless loop.

After Trump threatened new tariffs on China over REE on Friday, the crypto market was utterly decimated, with those trading on leverage, using "Perps" being hit the hardest.

Unusual.

Trump's inner circle has been insider trading crypto on advance notice of his announcements since the election. That short account no doubt was another example.

It was more than 19 TIMES larger than the March 2020 crash and collapse of FTX.

That crash and FTX collapse was followed by the fastest increase in BTC and ETH prices ever over the next year and a half.

Almost without exception every single person pushing crypto has some crypto.

Gold too. Many such cases.

For some reason, Trump's World Liberty Financial is one of the few ones UP during this crash. It spiked upwards at the height of the panic. It is a stablecoin, of course, but interesting.

You are funny. I don’t do paper or invisible electrons on a screen. Wealth is measured in ounces, not declining dollars or air. Confirmation: the HUI is up 125 percent YTD….if you can’t afford Gold, get some Silver, the party is just starting.

I bought bitcoin at $88. May 2013.

I will let you do the CAGR on that.

I have held silver since the last century. Gold too.

Diversity in investing will get you good returns.

Stop trying to scare people. You aren’t good at it.

You are welcome to invest in air, or tulip bulbs, matters little to me. Do take note of the last sentence.

AI:

“ Recent Cryptocurrency Market Crash
Overview of the Crash
The cryptocurrency market recently experienced a significant downturn, resulting in record liquidations. Over $19 billion was lost, affecting approximately 1.6 million traders. This event is noted as the largest liquidation in crypto history.
Causes of the Crash
The crash was triggered by the announcement of 100% tariffs on China by former President Donald Trump. This unexpected move led to widespread panic in the market, causing a rapid decline in cryptocurrency values.
Impact on the Market
Market Cap Decline: The total cryptocurrency market cap fell from $4.30 trillion to $3.74 trillion.
Trading Volume: Trading volumes reached $490.23 billion during the crash.
Liquidation Events: More than $7 billion of positions were liquidated within an hour of trading on October 10, 2025.
Conclusion

Two serious questions...
1- How do you go about buying bitcoins?
(who do you send your money to?)

1- How do you sell your bitcoins?
(how do you do that?)

Sadly, the Armed Forces are unable to have any effect on the rampant inflation.

But things will change when the U.S. dollar is backed by gold.
