Democrats...........are calling for both an extension of COVID-19 pandemic-era Obamacare subsidies and an end to Republicans' recent Medicaid cuts...... That is not all they are demanding. They want to keep the funding that was cut from USAID, funding for medicaid to illegals, and many billions more waste.

Just pay the GI’s don’t add crap on to it.
If you ever have been in the Military especially with
a family, you know the drill.
We take care of each other!
Even the Democrat soldiers.
I really get pissed when I read
what liberal media says about
our military.
The soldiers may miss some car payments, or
have some credit problems, but they
and their families get cared for
and it gets fixed.
Honestly do you want to go war with a
soldier that doesn’t “Have your back”?
Only about 7 percent of ALL Americans
in the history of America have
served in the military.
So I can see how we are sidelined.
But we are the reason you are free.
Think about that for a while.

”Johnson later told reporters on a press call that a standalone vote would be a ‘pointless exercise,’ because ‘Senate Democrats will block it.’”Then let the Senate Democrats block it so it is on them, or pressure them to pass it.

They should pass this. Then keep the rest of the government shut down for the rest of the year.

The fight between good and evil continues day after day.
Just watch the news. Nothing will change because of abnormal behavior.

There is another issue at hand. If the house is gaveled into session, the votes exist to open the Epstein files. The speaker opposes this and so any issue at all cannot be allowed to put the house back into session

Because it will implicate the GOPe too going back decades, the criminality is across the board politically and private non-govt.
This whole saga is proof that the uniparty still runs things.

Unfortunately, you are absolutely correct. Although, I remember when the filibuster disappeared on judges, some thought the world would fall apart.

If they really cared about the military - they’d make it a clean deal - but they add so much pork that it remains untenable - when I was in the military, we took care of each other.....when I was a DOD Civilian during the Obama shutdowns, those of us who had the resources made sure our subordinates (military and civilian) were taken care of.

I contacted my military family and friends yesterday. I told them I support Trump not being held hostage to the liberal spending agenda. And, putting my money where my mouth is, to the extent I am able I'll be certain my military family and friends have food in their bellies and a roof over their heads until the democrats blink and they get their back pay. If we all do this, this storm will pass quickly and easily. The democrats can't threaten our military if we have their backs.
