Washington — Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked an effort aimed at preventing continued U.S. strikes on alleged drug-carrying boats off the coast of Venezuela.
Democrats forced a vote on the issue under the War Powers Act. In a 48-51 vote, the effort failed to garner enough support to move forward.
The resolution, led by Sens. Adam Schiff of California and Tim Kaine of Virginia, would have blocked the U.S. military from engaging in hostilities with "any non-state organization engaged in the promotion, trafficking, and distribution of illegal drugs and other related activities" without congressional authorization. ...

I guess we will find out because it is bound to happen. The question is how will the world know if we blow up human shields? Human shields only work if your adversary knows about them either in advance or after the fact. Anonymous human shields don’t work.
By the way, some conservatives think it’s all an act. Fetterman is just trying to present himself as a centrist for one reason or another.
I disagree. Back in January of 2024 a rowdy group of pro-Palestine demonstrators showed up at Fetterman’s house in Braddock, PA. A typical politician would have ignored the protesters. Or maybe meet with the protesters, to find some “common ground” with them.
Not Fetterman. He actually climbed onto the roof of his house. He then waved the Israeli flag at the group.
Dont get me wrong. Fetterman is not the next Reagan. But he is the real deal.
Trump is using the Treasury Department and the FBI to look into their funding. That will hurt them much more than arresting a few low level protestors.
So, it looks like the drug cartels are yet another victim class for the democrats.
You can’t make this stuff up...
The demoncrats get real upset when you mess with their narcotics business..
The enemy within. In any other period of history, this behavior by the Democrat Socialists would be considered treasonous and seditious, with appropriate punishment (death or exile) applied with all alacrity.
The Democrat Socialists have covered their reach for power over the decades with all kinds of pious promises and accusations of malfeasance by their opposition, while clandestinely covering up their own machinations buried in voluminous and turgid legislation passed in the dark of night (”We have to pass the bill to find out what is in it”) then disingenuously claiming “We just don’t understand how that happened”.
It’s really sad to see the clown Rand Paul has morphed into.
Good. We do have a war on drugs going on.
Shifty and the possibly gay window-licker protecting drug cartels ...
Fascinating.
No surprise.
The Democrat Party has championed every evil from The Trail of Tears, slavery, and the ku klux klan to infanticide, crime, riots, open borders, political corruption, election fraud and every other form of hate, evil, and destruction!
The Democrat Party is the Party of Hate and Evil.
Keep 'em talking! Encourage them to reveal who they are!
The resolution, led by Sens. Adam Schiff of California and Tim Kaine of Virginia, would have blocked the U.S. military...
.......
Traitor schiff wont stop being a traitor till he’s toes up.
Traitors in the Senate isn’t a great practice but we pull it off

Hiding under his pillow.
He really thinks Rand Paul is running for President in ‘28.
Just like Crazy Liz was trying to get a Cabinet post under Biden.
Both are delusional.
Fetterman's handlers know how to read polls.

That’s a fair assumption. But I don’t think it’s true in this case. Please see my post #17.

That’s a fair assumption. But I don’t think it’s true in this case. Please see my post #22.
Sorry. Please ignore my post #34. It’s corrected in post #35.
I thought that it was the other way around, the Democrat Party is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Drug Cartels.
