While this may be true, is it because the border is now secure or did FJB let everybody in before DJT took over?
We still need a giant, physical, wall.
Otherwise, the Democrats can turn the flood back on just as fast as Trump turned it off.

The Trump administration has announced it is planning to build new sections of the southern border wall. The new barriers would extend nearly 10 miles along the San Diego-Mexico border.
The new wall system is being funded by the so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act. It gives Customs and Border Protection more than $46 billion through 2029 for construction and maintenance costs.”

How much of the wall is up? How much left to build? As soon as Trump is going the flood of illegal aliens will start again.
10 miles of a 1954 mile border.
That’s literally a rounding error.
Oh, millions more would’ve come. Most likely the main reason isn’t the wall, but the fact that invaders are learning they’re not going to have a nice time once they get here. Not only are some few coming, but two million so far have left.
My understanding is that the border wall is full of gaps and large areas that are without a wall at all, a lot of work remains.
It also seems that Texas is the only state that does not have the 60 feet wide ‘corridor’ of federal land alongside the border (the Roosevelt reservation) that can be controlled by the military.
Perhaps Texas could do the patriotic thing and ‘donate’ or ‘sell’ that land to the federal government so they can put their military alongside it, and whatever wall they deem necessary.
Well the crossing should be up southbound.
It’s an important 10 miles with lots of crossing and there are 485 miles of fence up now. Many miles of the border have virtually no crossings due to being “in the middle of nowhere”, no water, no roads, no services, etc.
Whoops, I was wrong. 741 miles of border fencing had been installed by Trump before this latest 10 miles. Total border is 1485 miles, much of which is considered difficult/isolated enough to not require fencing.
The USA will have reached a new and greater level of ascendance, glory, and enlightenment when no wall is necessary because the American People themselves are the only necessary wall.

It took less then 9 months when bush and obama and biden said it never could be done.
