Larry Black was on his way to his sister's apartment when he was shot in the head on March 24, 2019. He was just 22 years old.
Just a week after the harrowing ordeal, the young man was being rolled into an operating room at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital to have his organs removed.
But his doctor, Zohny Zohny, never declared Black brain dead, and his heart was still beating.
'This is my patient. Get him off the table,' Zohny asserted. 'I don’t care if we have consent [from his family].
'I haven’t spoken to the family, and I don’t agree with this. Get him off the table.'
Black was returned to the intensive care unit (ICU). He woke up two days later.

Zohny said Black's family would not have consented to the organ harvesting if they knew his true state (pictured from left to right: Zohny, Black and Watts in 2019)
After reading several stories like this, my wife and sons have removed the donor option from their drivers license renewal. I may op out next time.
Never, ever fill in the organ donor check box on your driver license.
I hope we learned from Covid that a LOT of doctors are ghouls who will gladly kill patients to make more profit.
In Ohio, you don’t have to fill out a card.
It is “expected” that you consent unless you specifically request not to be a donor.
Medical ethics no longer exists
I have personally watched this scenario play out way too many times back in the days before organ transplants became big business, doctors were still focused on patients and ethics were more carefully observed.
In today's world, people are looked at as a source of spare parts.
Medical ethics no longer exists
This story is from the UK - they are about a decade ahead of the US in the decline of ethics but we are closing the gap rapidly.
“When Black was shot more than six years ago, he was a registered organ donor - a status he has since changed.”
Doctors’ behavior is starting to resemble that of the vulture; sometimes they don’t wait for them to stop wiggling before taking their pound of flesh.
Organs are not “harvested” from “dead” people!
You are merely sedated (which means you feel the pain) while the Ghouls separate you from your life-sustaining body parts!
Actually the story is from St.Louis, MO, but the US media will not report these stories. Media source is the Daily Mail, but the events took place in USA.
I live in SC. My wife and I both said no, but hers came back with the donor status. She went back and changed it. We both agree, I have no issue trying to help another soul if there is no hope, but each of us will make that call for the other. Not some doctor with a financial, political or other agenda.
Dr. Heidi Klessig is an incredible source of information on this most important topic. She has a website, videos, an X account. She absolutely destroys the organ harvester zombies.
I’ve heard of family’s who have started requesting private autopsies to make sure doctor’s haven’t harvested anything against the family wishes.
.
Thank God this young man had a great doctor willing to go the extra mile to save his life.
So lots of kidney transplant programs encourage “living donors” and insurance plans cover it.
That one’s for donating one out of two kidneys while you’re fully functioning. You can live with one. Usually, donated among relatives.
