Federal judge allows case to move forward based on evidence linking Saudi officials to hijackers.
Family members of 9/11 victims celebrated on Wednesday a court victory they said brings them one step closer to holding Saudi Arabia accountable for its alleged role in the 2001 terrorist attacks.
Brett Eagleson, whose father, John, was killed in the attacks, said during a press conference in New York City the judge’s "historic, landmark decision," issued two weeks ago, to move forward with a long-running lawsuit against the Saudi Arabian government was based on "indefensible evidence."
"There were at least 13 Saudi government officials connected to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. They were working and operating in and out of the Saudi consulates and the Saudi embassies," Eagleson said. "There were funneling support from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Washington, D.C., to their embassies in San Diego, to the hijackers’ handlers, right down to the hijackers themselves."

9/11 stirs bitter memories. The fact that Saudi intelligence was well aware of the plot, knew the individuals, never shared the knowledge with American intelligence and allowed it to proceed. After the attack President George Bush , by now well aware of this Saudi perfidy, goes on a rant of how Islam is the religion of peace. Of course his family became incredibly wealthy in the oil business and navigating arm sales to the Saudis. Likely the Saudis stored much information of how the Bush family got rich with those deals. Then Bush takes no action against the Saudis but instead invades Iraq which was the greatest threat to the Saudi regime. Bush then involved us in two long, costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that cost over 6,000 brave young American deaths, tens of thousands more physically and psychologically maimed. It also depleted the US treasury, caused the economic collapse of 2007-2008 that resulted in the disasterous Obama administration.
The American dead from 9/11 will never rest until there is justice.

My glances at the document indicate the embassy guys acted in early 2000 and that one embassy guy stayed around until 2003.
2 of the 3 companies I interviewed with after I moved to th US were in Tower 1, the other was in Tower 2.
My cousin (firefighter) and my high school sweetheart (police) were killed in the attack.
