A new administration should not be forced to continue the previous administration's policies.

The move has sparked criticism from foreign-aid organizations and Democratic lawmakers...

The group was called The Drifters, not The Grifters. /humor

“...funds appropriated by Congress...”

That’s not continuing the previous administration’s policy.

Unless the funds were left to the discretion of the previous admin’s discretion to distribute as they saw fit. If they were specifically designated spending, seems to me the proper thing would be for Congress to rescind the spending.
I don’t know on this one...

“asking the Supreme Court to lift a district court injunction that currently blocks the administration from withholding $12 billion in foreign aid funds appropriated by Congress.”

With the regal, low level judges running the country now, why do we need Congre$$ or the $upreme Clown$ of the US?

Who, what when, where and why?

Let’s start with WHO the plaintiffs are?

Former USAID employees? Standing is always the first issue.

Absent standing you have no case. Sheesh.

Where are the recission packages? Should send one per day to congress. Otherwise you will loose in court. Congress allocates the funds.

Congress authorizes and appropriates for expenditures for the executive branch. Congress does not do the actual spending. The money should only be used for what its been authorized for, and you cant spend more, but there is nothing to say that the authorized dollars must be spent. Any unused funds should immediately be returned to the treasury.

The MSM mentioned this hold on the money.
Everyone thinks that Biden & crew parked that money in a Private Bank to keep President Trump from taking ‘their’ money away.

Here’s what they didn’t say.

They had no clue that President Trump would be able to go after the money. They didn’t park it in a private bank to lock President Trump out.

They just had developed the habit of parking government funds in private banks because...... it allows for a greater set of options.

The banks love it and keep it on the down low.
The politicians can skim money off the top because the money is under control of the bank and the banks aren’t responsible for approving or accounting for any ‘expenses’ the money undergoes during the distribution phase. The fundees get the money they are expecting and everyone is happy. Especially the politicians. They get to ladle off the cream and ensure No one asks why $12 billion was authorized but only $10 billion reached it’s target.
