China, Russia, India Vow Increased Cooperation to Counter American Dominance
The New American ^ | September 3, 2025 | Paul Dragu

Three major Eastern powers met in China this week and vowed to increase collaboration as part of a broader challenge to Western supremacy in the already-emerging multipolar world.

While western media framed the event as more proof of the Trump administration’s ineptitude, Russian media heralded it as “one of the defining political events of 2025.” The 25th annual Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit was held in Tianjin, China, this year. The heads of Iran, Pakistan, Turkey, Belarus, and other Central Asian and Caucasus states also attended.

The multi-day event began with the Chinese, Russian, and Indian heads of states embracing, a gesture mainstream Western foreign-policy pundits quickly interpreted as more proof that the Trump administration’s foreign policy is a failure. “President Trump’s gentle treatment of Vladimir Putin has done nothing to pull Russia away from China,” Michael Fullilove, executive director of the Lowy Institute think tank in Australia, told The Wall Street Journal. “His rough treatment of [Indian Prime Minister] Narendra Modi, on the other hand, is pushing India closer to Russia and warming up its relations with China.”

India in the Spotlight

India carries significant geopolitical weight in today’s interconnected global economy. It boasts a sophisticated workforce and the largest population of any country on the planet. Journal correspondent Yaroslav Trofimov made the following observation regarding the West’s and East’s tug-of-war over India:

India is the cornerstone of America’s strategy to prevent a Chinese domination of Asia. Sino-Indian relations have remained nearly frozen since deadly clashes along the two giants’ disputed border erupted in 2020. Modi traveled to China for the first time in seven years after Trump’s abrupt move to impose 50% tariffs on India, half of them as punishment for New Delhi buying cheap Russian oil, sparked widespread outrage in_India.

Of course they will. Will they succeed? I doubt it. trump ought to send all Indians back to India who are here on visas of any kind. Same for Russians, & Chinese.

They too are in bad shape as are we. In addition there are frictions between those three nations. In other words, it's a union of necessity, but it is not a strong union at all, and the frictions will keep popping up.

So they wish to oppose peace, free sea lanes and trade, and personal freedom.

Because that’s what America represents.

When they say “American dominance” what they mean is American intransigence.

This the core of the BRICS consortium. Nothing really new.

More losers losing.

Russia is destitute and can’t project.

China is having serious money problems and their massive projection has actually been rejected on a grand scale.

EVERYONE desires access to the US marketplace.

A huuuuge percentage of the Chicoms “economy” involves exports. The largest market is the USA.

PS - India and the Chicoms have completely embraced hydrocarbons (that fossil fuel for those of you in Rio Linda). Besides oil and natural gas, they both dig like crazy for coal. Never a peep from the Drive-By Media.

Those countries see themselves losing big to the U.S., and they’re just trying to slow their demise.

China is a dependent country, and if the U.S were to stop sing them as a manufacturing center, China would go back to being a non-issue/third-world shithole.

Russia is no longer a world power and it’s economy is i shambles. The only thing they still have, which matter somewhat, is nukes. Otherwise, Putin is just trying to slow the bleeding.

India is only significant, because they have the largest population in the world, but economically, they’re a basket-
case.

They’re parading around hoping that they’ll be noticed and perhaps be taken seriously.

But, his memory needs to be kept alive.

Well, we have seen clear evidence that friction exists between the three. India is just mad that they no longer can take advantage of the U.S. as a trading partner. Russia is mad at the U.S. because of what Joe Biden , and all of Europe did to start the hostilities in Ukraine, and China has been at war with the U.S. for decades, as well as, the rest of the world as they seek world domination.

In the meantime is doing the correct thing. Now he needs to push back as well.

[India] boasts a sophisticated workforce

Please, Indians are the Earth's version of the Vogons from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It is just in the way of China easily getting to the middle East and Europe. Not crapping in a hole in the floor and indoor drainage in sophisticated to them. Indian average IQ is about 75.

The reason the Axis powers kept getting in each other’s way and sabotaging each other’s efforts is, they didn’t trust one another. They were allies of convenience and not commitment. The same is true of Russia, China et. al. They have few, if any strategic goals in common. Their only point of convergence is they hate the American hegemon. Pretty much everyone else hates it too but there’s not one American ally who would swap American hegemony for say, Russian or Chinese.

People have a perception of what they think of these three countries and then go hunting for confirmation of some fashion.

China and India are close to 40% of the world’s population by themselves. The added countries (particularly Indonesia, who manages to deny categorization) put this group over 50% making those opposed to them . . . the ones who are isolated.

India’s GDP growth last year was 6% last year and 7% year to date.

China has its own space station in orbit, done without the cooperation of other countries and without relying for 10 years on Soyuz to keep it manned, as we did about 2010 to 2020 with the ISS.

An examination of Indian and Chinese grocery stores shows no empty shelves. The combination of the two countries show slow population growth — and both have net Emigration! US population growth was the illegal influx and that will end, but India and China are achieving population without influx — And That Means More Than Enough Food.

This . . . THIS . . . is the only measure of a country nearing collapse or thriving. Does it have enough food to grow population, and is that where the growth comes from, not immigration? Operative word: ONLY. Everything else is printed pieces of paper.

You want American seniors to lose medical care by sending 350,000 Indian doctors back to India?

How heartless are you for American seniors? Did you push your grandma’s wheel chair over the cliff?

Good- time to send all those H1B visa holders back home, along with the Chinese students and kick all their companies out of US capital markets.

Average income of Indo-Americans is double that of European ancestry Americans. That does not sound like incompetent Indians.
