Laura Loomer @LauraLoomer 🚨 RINO Senator @SenThomTillis Thom Tillis’s Anti-Litigation Finance Bill Threatens American Justice, Favors Woke Corporations, Big Tech, and Big Pharma🚨

Senator Thom Tillis’s “Tackling Predatory Litigation Funding Act” S. 1821) is raising alarms among Americans for its potential to hand massive corporations a shield from accountability while leaving everyday Americans defenseless. The legislation, which imposes a punishing 41% tax on litigation finance, is being slammed as a betrayal of the America First agenda, threatening the ability of hardworking citizens to challenge the elite globalist machine through litigation.

Litigation finance is a critical weapon for the little guy—empowering consumers, whistleblowers, and small inventors to take on corporate titans like Big Tech, Big Pharma, corrupt governments, foreign terrorist organizations, and insurance giants. It’s the tool that fueled lawsuits alleging Bank of America debanked conservatives, allowing everyday people to take on massive industries, banks, corporations and even governments and terrorist organizations.

By taxing this resource, Tillis’s bill risks pricing out ordinary Americans from justice and accountability, ensuring only the ultra-wealthy can afford to fight in court.

Tillis’s bill empowers large, woke corporations, and protects them from lawsuits exposing DEI-driven discrimination or predatory practices. Small inventors, vital to American innovation, face a dire threat as they rely on litigation finance to defend patents against corporate and foreign infringers—a cornerstone of our national security. The bill’s sweeping tax could even hit pension funds, hurting retirees to pad corporate profits.

There’s nothing “RINO” about opposing costly and unnecessary business litigation.

Absolutely. The amount of money that is wasted in litigation is staggering, and in a lot of those cases, the only ones who really make out are the lawyers. It's the Trial Lawyers and Democrats who will want to kill this bill.

And idiots like Loomer.

I agree. This hits one aspect of the ligation problem but it would be far better if they added LOSER PAYS language to the bill. That would address the clearly FRIVOLOUS lawsuits that cost our nation a vast amount.

Oh, yes—those pesky little people trying to sue Big Pharma really should be made to pay much more to access the courts and justice!

If Roy Cooper decides to run next year, he is probably toast anyway.
