Did you read the article? It would take 60 votes to give us what we want. We only have 53, if every Republican would vote yea. Is it rotten that we always have to compromise? It sure is. But until we have60 votes, we have to go with what we can. However, continuing resolutions only take 50 votes. That’s where the battle needs to be.
I know. But those 60 votes will impede a balanced budget. Who are those 60 votes? If it helps the Rats, it is ok. Otherwise, raise a stink. You missed my point entirely

Disappointing and frustrating as it may be, we have to be understanding of facts and trusting of people who clearly earned that trust over many years - in short, Schlichter is correct. Have patience, Trump has a plan - that what real estate moguls do, plan - and not just for next week. We have to be adults about this, unlike the spoiled children on the other side.
