Russian forces are working to establish a buffer zone along the country's border with Ukraine, President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday, following his return from the Kursk region in southern Russia The decision to establish the zone had been taken, Putin said by video link during a government meeting. He did not stipulate where the buffer zone would lie or how large it would be. "Our forces are currently engaged in solving this task, hostile firing points are being actively suppressed, and the work is ongoing," he said.

We are talking about Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions. These regions border on Kharkov, Sumy and Chernigov regions of Ukraine.

There is no point making a deal with a lying Bolshevik like Putin. He has proven many times he will never honor an agreement. Given that the only option Ukrainians has is to resist and reclaim when Moscow collapses again.

Putin the dictator dictates that, he’s going to declare a DMX on the Ukrainian side of the border.
If Cuba decides to declare that it rightfully owns Miami, the U.S. would need to pull out. Same with Mexico in California and Texas; Mexico owns that territory and the ‘illegals’ there are not illegals and have more rights to that land area than Americans.
Sounds like Ukraine is going to be getting even smaller.

I think Putin considers the results of the war thus far to be Russian.
Maybe the most important thing about this decision by Putin is it was not made overnight. Such decisions never are.
Which means Trump was briefed on this in the telecon — and there has been no public objection from him.
