Traumatized Tillis Could Inflict Fatal Blow to Martin Confirmation

In defending the Biden DOJ's lawfare against his own constituents, Sen. Thom Tillis not only could sink interim DC US Attorney Ed Martin's confirmation but end ongoing investigations at the office.

At the heart of the systemically corrupt Department of Justice beats the office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. Nearly every politically-driven prosecution in Washington starts and ends there: for example, the first official act of Matthew Graves, the Biden appointed DC US Attorney, was to hand up a criminal indictment against Trump confidant Steve Bannon for contempt of Congress in November 2021.

The office is a case feeder to DC judges who routinely, as the American people now see, serve as nothing more than a rubber stamp for any prosecution targeting Donald Trump, his associates, and his voters.

Which is why the president’s nomination of Ed Martin represents a once in a lifetime opportunity for Republicans—not necessarily to wield the office in the same manner as his predecessors (not that I oppose such fair play) but to expose the malfeasance and abusive tactics behind the most egregious political prosecutions of the past several years.

Martin, who defended January 6 protesters, must be confirmed by the Senate by May 20, the day his interim appointment expires. If the Senate fails to approve Martin, federal law may enable Jeb Boasberg, the partisan Obama appointee and chief judge of the DC District Court, to name a replacement until the president picks a new one.

One Republican who could prove fatal to Martin’s confirmation is North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis. In an interview on Tuesday, Tillis, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he does not support Martin’s nomination and informed the White House of his decision:

Great piece by Julie Kelly! If you live in NC call Tillis' office and ask him to vote to confirm Ed Martin.

I thought Ed Martin was already in the GOP’s rear view mirror!
Not yet decided? Then when, for anyone who knows.

Re-assign him out of the committee. Surely there’s another senator that can fill his spot. The senate has more love for their decorum than they do for the country. How smug they are they get to be accepted at cocktails parties while they destroy the country.

The difference between a Democrat and a RINO:

A Democrat will stab you in the front.

A RINO will stab you in the back.

Look at his bank account(s). Political leverage like that isn’t cheap.

Trump was asked about this at today’s swearing-in ceremony for David Perdue (ambassador to China). Trump was complimentary of Martin but didn’t seem to want to get involved.

Tillis is of that old breed of senators who fancy themselves artistocrats. By simple observation one can tell that he is a charter member of The Larry Craig Toe Tappers of America. He doesn't comport himself like one of the people. He thinks he is above all the tedibly, tedibly coarse riff-raff. He has nothing, NOTHING, in common with MAGA.

“Why would you be traumatized by your own constituents?” Steele asked me when I read Mullin’s remarks to her. “Maybe he should talk to his constituents. In fact, I am willing to come to DC to talk to Tillis to work out his problems.”

Sounds like Tillis really needs to traumatized by his constituents. What a pathetic limp wrist.

He had no problem confirming Merrick Garland. Somebody needs to do some kind of power-play on this ass clown. They need to put DOGE on his finances, and he’s probably an Epstein island guy or cheating on his wife.

“Mr. Martin did a good job of explaining the one area that I think he’s probably right, that there were some people that were over-prosecuted, but there were some, 200 or 300 of them that should have never gotten a pardon”

Tillis [stupid & dishonest]

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tillis-puts-onus-trump-avoid-boasberg-picking-us-attorney-martins-nomination-appears-sunk

The pardons were Trump’s to make.

The J6th people would have been cheering in the streets if Congress had done its job and Pence did his job.

All Pence had to say was he believed there was enough election fraud to have changed the outcome.

This was posted by someone earlier today:

- In 2004 John Kerry received 59,000,000 votes.

- In 2008 Barack Obama exploded and 69,500,000 votes .

- In 2012, Obama runs again, 65.9 million.

- Then in 2016, Hillary Clinton runs, Hillary got 65,900,000.

- So this is where it starts to get a little fishy. In 2020, Biden explodes and receives over 81,000,000 votes.

How many trump judges have given trump the middle finger? Many. They rule against him constantly. It doesn’t matter that a judge gets kicked to the curb. They all are illegal alien lovers. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Check his finances. Or he may be on Epstein’s list, wherever that went to.
