When did citizens of other nations gain USA constitutional rights?
According to Senator Van Hollen discussing illegal alien Abrego Garcia has U.S. “Constitutional Rights.” Van Hollen claimed on CBS, “I want to be really clear, this is not a case about just one man whose constitutional rights are being ignored and disrespected. Because when you trample on the constitutional rights of one man, as the courts have all said is happening in this case, you threaten the constitutional rights of every American.” WATCH:

“Section. 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.”
(This plainly states it is a RIGHT, not a privilege.)

Yes, a right of the citizen only. That does make it a privilege of a citizen, not available to illegals and non-citizens. It is the one and only benefit of citizenship.

My material evidence is from GengisK : ‘Not all persons physically present in the Unitedstates are entitled to ALL ( i.e. the ENTIRETY) Constitutional rights’ as are ALL Americans.
res ipsa loquitur
You were factually wrong and did not admit it.
And you are still wrong, but I will respectfully leave it at that for now - I have much better things to do.
you are too confused. It is a RIGHT of a citizen, therefore NOT a privilege.
also another right not acknowledged by the Constitution to just anyone who happens to be here.
The paperwork on all of Garcia’s arrests, deportation orders, evidence of gang affiliation, human trafficking, domestic abuse, etc etc are posted at several official govt sites-he first came over the Southern border illegally in 2011, he was caught and issued deportation orders twice since then, by 2 different judges. There is no evidence anywhere that he ever had a green card, nor did he claim that he did-he is married to an American citizen, but that does not make him legal-he is a mojado...
Acknowledged, Texan: thank you!
Question 2: Do illegal aliens have a right to trial by a jury of their peers?
You’re welcome...
In every other country in the world, we as noncitizens have some rights there, BUT NOT ALL the rights their citizens do.
Likewise, here, noncitizens DO NOT HAVE ALL THE RIGHTS citizens do. And criminal noncitizens here illegally, have even less rights than visiting noncitizens.
You must not be familiar with the mores and customs of English common law, and American jurisprudence.
Nearly all of the protections listed in the Bill of Rights refers to ‘persons’, not citizens. The same holds true for the 14th Amendment. One reason for the passage of the 14th was the Dred Scott decision which specifically excluded blacks from the rights as ‘persons’. Quotes from various Senators do not constitute how the laws are applied.
The current question seems to revolve around the idea of how many times an illegal alien gets to avail himself of these right. If a court has ordered him deported, doesn’t that constitute ‘due process of law’? How many bites of the apple is he entitled to?
Perhaps I am trying to use more distinct semantics.
As a ‘Permanent Resident Alien’ I certainly did have the right to a jury.
Voting or receiving SS were the main limitations.
Unfortunately it’s not working.
I am sure he was as concerned about the Constitutional rights of actual US citizens who sat in jail for 4 years without being charged with anything and without access to an attorney for simply being on the steps of the Capitol on 01/06/21.
We are seeing the Cloward Piven strategy on steroids. The objective is to overwhelm the system in order to destroy it. Import the illegals by the millions all at once by circumventing the process, but we can only deport them one at a time after exhausting every single court process at the expense of the US taxpayer. It will be impossible to mass deport the illegal invaders so we simply have to incentivize them to self-deport by eliminating the incentive structure. Cut off the funding they receive and start punishing the employers who hire them. Also, start taxing remittances by 100%. The illegals will largely self-deport.
These people are illegal criminal aliens and have not rights and should get nothing but a bus ticket to the border.
