Pardon the digression, but I always wondered if Ebenezer Scrooge believed in vampires. His rant to his nephew about people who said “Merry Christmas” always stood out to me:

“If I could work my will, every idiot who goes about with a ‘Merry Christmas’ on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding and buried with a stake of holly through his heart, he should!”

Of course, that isn’t in the same spirit as we want to bid adieu to world socialism (for which “globalism” is yet another euphemism).
