A federal appeals court stacked with Biden and Obama judges on Wednesday kept in place a block on President Trump’s federal funding freeze.
“Chief Judge David Barron, an appointee of former President Obama, and Circuit Judges Lara Montecalvo and Julie Rikelman, both appointees of former President Biden, presided over the case brought on by Democratic attorneys general from 22 states, the District of Columbia and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D),” The Hill reported.
Last month US District Judge of the District Court for the District of Rhode Island, John McConnell, an Obama appointee, accused President Trump of violating his court order blocking his federal funding freeze.
In January Judge McConnell temporarily blocked Trump’s freeze on federal funding in response to a request from 22 Democrat state attorneys general and DC.
Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) previously put a temporary pause of agency grant, loan and other financial assistance programs.
“The American people elected Donald J. Trump to be President of the United States and gave him a mandate to increase the impact of every federal taxpayer dollar. In Fiscal Year 2024,of the nearly $10 trillion that the Federal Government spent, more than $3 trillion was Federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans,” the OMB said.
“This memorandum requires Federal agencies to identify and review all Federal financial assistance programs and supporting activities consistent with the President’s policies and requirements,” the OMB memo said.
This temporary pause will provide the Administration time to review agency programs and determine the best uses of the funding for those programs consistent with the law and the President’s priorities. The temporary pause will become effective on January 28, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Even before completing their comprehensive analysis, Federal agencies must immediately identify any legally mandated actions or deadlines for assistance programs arising while the pause remains in effect. Federal agencies must report this information to OMB along with ananalysis of the requirement. OMB also directs Federal agencies to pause all activities associated with open NOFOs, such as conducting merit review panels,” the OMB added.
Judge McConnell previously accused Trump of failing to comply with his court order.
Judge Loren AliKhan, a Biden appointee, also granted a temporary stay on Trump’s plan to freeze federal funding.
Shouldn’t Traitor Roberts be Gitmo’d for claiming that there are no 0bama judges?
Really.
Judicial terrorism, not activism.
The Judicial branch further proves it is using lawfare in a partisan way. Dissolve these politicized courts.
Next stop SC.
Consolidate all the judgefare cases, and respectfully (heh) insist they *all* be reviewed and decided upon asap.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
Sincerely,
The Electorate
PS Only if you, SCOTUS, still want to receive the respect and deference denied by your branch in recent weeks to a co equal branch of government.
the mouse in our pocket
Rat Judges always go exactly the way you expect them to. Always. We are at the crossroad. In a few days when the SC sides with the lower court and forces the Administration to bring back the tens of thousands of dismissed Federal employees Trump will have to make choice: go Andy Jackson or his second term is crippled beyond recognition.
When does all this crap reach the Supreme Court?
Everything everywhere All at once..............

Nov 8, 2024 — One of the most striking findings in the exit polls was that Generation X delivered the presidential election to Donald Trump.
So sorry I voted for a Bush. My eyes are open now. Gore may have been more like Clinton who was okay over all.
ManBearPig was/is a retard.
Clintoon [the male part] not so much.
As always, YMMV.
Have the plaintiffs placed bond for the amount that they would have to repay the Treasury if the final decision is against them?
BTTT
