Maybe the courts are beginning to realize they exist at the pleasure of Congress and they can’t make 100% of their rulings against Trump, lest Speaker Johnson lower the hammer on them.

The current laws regarding “asylum” and “refugees” need to be junked entirely.

This is a strategic win for Team Trump
It shuts down the influx of illegal aliens into the country and allows Trump to secure the borders
Dealing with those already in the country is going to have to work its way through the courts where Trump Admin will eventually prevail
As a practical matter, the Trump Admin is going to have its hands full and be task saturated removing the million or so criminal illegal aliens , terrorists, sleeper agents, cartel members and other undesirable illegals so its going to take a while to get to the garden variety fraudulent asylum seekers
There is nothing the courts can do about defunding the Biden illegal alien money laundering schemes

This was a three judge panel.
If the Ninth Circuit hears the appeal en banc, no way they will rule for the government.

This was a three judge panel. If the Ninth Circuit hears the appeal en banc, no way they will rule for the government.Petition for Rehearing by the Panel: A party may request the same three-judge panel to reconsider its decision.
Petition for Rehearing En Banc: Alternatively, or additionally, a party can petition for a rehearing en banc. Unlike other circuits where all active judges participate in en banc hearings, the Ninth Circuit employs a "limited en banc" procedure due to its large size. This involves the Chief Judge and ten randomly selected active judges, totaling eleven judges.
So yes, they can petition for an en banc hearing.
