We are very sorry about this inconvenience however we have to get this work done. Our system has been abused by fraudulent credit card testers using bots to process hundreds of fraudulent entries. we are working to make our system bot-proof so that we can get our merchant account approved again.
And, unfortunately, this delay has caused our FReepathon to fall way behind and it's going to be very hard to get caught up before the end of the month. We can't use credit cards at this time But our paypal program still works. Also, paypal has a credit card function where you can donate by credit card through paypal and you don't even have to have a paypal account to do so.

Made an extra donation to make up for the issues. Thanks Jim.
We’ve had to delay processing monthlies because our merchant account has been turned off. They will turn it back on after we get these bots blocked. Then we’ll be back to normal.
Our system is not at risk and none of our monthly donors are at risk. The fraudsters are using bots to submit small credit card transactions to test their stolen credit card numbers to see if they work. These guys are all foreign operations.

Technical people probably can see if the credit card submission is from a foreign source or an intermediary.
