British Prime Minister Keir Starmer Announces U.K. Troops Will be “Boots on the Ground in Ukraine” Leading a European “Coalition of the Willing”

Following a widely watched assembly of EU leaders, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announces that Britain will lead a “coalition of the willing” and the U.K. will put boots on the ground and planes in the air to create the “security guarantee” for a potential Russia-Ukraine ceasefire.

The Prime Minister did not specify any other European country who will align and join their military forces on the ground in Ukraine; instead outlining that additional military elements will be rapidly organized. PM Starmer stressed that U.S. military forces “must” backstop the EU military members and implied that Italian PM Meloni will only align with the principal of Italian military use if the USA is involved.

As secretary Rubio mentioned earlier in the day, the Ukraine/EU phrase “security guarantee” is more honestly described as “deterrence” or an insurance policy. Prime Minister Starmer and this EU ‘coalition of the willing’ are only willing to put their military into Ukraine if the USA will be guaranteed to come into the conflict if the ceasefire falls apart. This should not be a part of any reasonable consideration, given the 3rd parties (not Russia) that would intentionally seek to disrupt a ceasefire to suck the USA into battle. WATCH:

.

None of the other EU nations are willing to publicly say they will put their military into Ukraine, because the EU just doesn’t have a military force capable to deal with the conflict.

So the title tells NOTHING.

No one wants to do anything without the US involved, the article says.

So the UK is doing NOTHING until big brother backs it up.

We’ll he not!!

Big brother is BROKE and sick of seeing its boys dying and getting horrific injuries in wars for THEM.

Trump is in charge.

And he won’t let it happen. Thank you God.

People like Geoffrey Sachs blamed the CIA, US neocons, and the US for the Maidan Coup and war in Ukraine.

I think it’s obvious now that the likes of Nuland, Blinken, Biden, Obama were really just following the direction of London-Brussels/WEF Globalists socialists. These are the people who refuse to give up on using Ukraine to make war on Russia.

Great!

If they’re serious about it, this will be a win-win for Trump. Putin will be held at bay and we save billions of dollars and lives by letting them handle it.

Hell no we won’t go.
Trump should demand Congress must declare war in order to send troops anywhere. The burden is on them.

starmer “PM Starmer stressed that U.S. military forces “must” backstop the EU military members and implied that Italian PM Meloni will only align with the principal of Italian military use if the USA is involved.”

What a deluded tool. They cannot admit that they got nothing as far as military might goes.

That's not what the article states.

It does state that Italy will do nothing unless the US is involved. The UK makes no statement about the US involvement. Read again!

I
Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
“Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns!” he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

II
“Forward, the Light Brigade!”
Was there a man dismayed?
Not though the soldier knew
Someone had blundered.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

III
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.

IV
Flashed all their sabres bare,
Flashed as they turned in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wondered.
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right through the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reeled from the sabre stroke
Shattered and sundered.
Then they rode back, but not
Not the six hundred.

V
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volleyed and thundered;
Stormed at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell.
They that had fought so well
Came through the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.

VI
When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wondered.
Honour the charge they made!
Honour the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred!

I find Starmer to have the sincerity of Mitt Romney and the dynamism of Jeb Bush.

From what I’ve seen, the British could only field about 1.5 divisions.

The Royal Navy has more admirals than ships.

Let me restate and correct my earlier post:

The article does not state the UK will do nothing without the US, only that the US "must" provide troops.

Italy takes a wiser approach and will do nothing without US involvment.

Read into the UK statement what you will, but Starmer has now promised UK boots on the ground.
