Two things amaze me.
1. How many people, including a large group right here on FR, blindly believe the bull$**t they read every day from all sources?
2. The absolute hypocrisy of our country when we go on about things like.....
-Do it for the kids
-Fighting for democracy around the world
-WMDs in Iraq and poison gas around the world -- while we create a COVID bug in Wuhan and launch 50 or so biolabs in Ukraine
-Demonizing (softening up) the target like China, Russia, Imran Kahn, and more and more and more
-Tyrannical government's locking up political prisoners (remember Jan 6?)
-Nazies were demons and should all be killed -- except for those we can use as in Operation Paperclip
-Rule of law -- while we weaponize the justice system (ask Trump about that one)
-Protecting sovereign rights -- remember blowing up Nordstream or Arab Spring or Maidan?
It's only been going on for decades! And I don't see it changeing until things turn to crap (more than it already has).
The foundation of America is not “created equal” nor “inalienable rights endowed by their creator.” The foundation of America is TRUTHS, as in “We hold these TRUTHS to self-evident.”
ANYONE who promotes lies in the public arena is an enemy of America, a traitor to America’s foundational principle, and deserves mockery, disrespect, investigation, prosecution, punishment or deportation.
The CIA was formed as an “over throw” organization from the very start. Is it a surprise when they use those tactics on us?
It’s been a long transition. For me it goes back to being a young man in Michigan after Waco and the demonization of the militia movement. (I was being taught and mentored by black conservatives in the militia while the press denounced militias as “racist”). Time was when one could get banned (as I was) from FR for disputing the war party’s line on Iraq and WMD’s and how the US was “spreading democracy” in the Middle East. So yes, a lot of you have been “in the know” for a long time - but we’ve also been very much in the minority even in Republican circles until the last few years.
I read “None Dare Call it Conspiracy” in high school in the early 80’s and have gone down the rabbit hole since then.
Waco and Ruby Ridge erased any “normie” tendencies I may have had to that point.

A very good timeline of bad memories. You can add some things to it but it would not change the message and truth.
My late father was a gooberment employee. Fairly high up the food chain but not in DC. He saw the deceptions just before he retired back in the early 90s. It had begun before but it was in full force by then.
After the Congressional Budget Act of 1974 you had to be very creative to manage your budget but keep things you were responsible for up and running. The people who ran the shows back then were mostly WWII vets who did the jobs for a living but also took a whole lot of pride in serving the nation.

You and I and a few others see it for what it is (but not many others). It's just plain mind control of the masses -- pysops. Why does practically every country on the planet have the equivalent of "Minister of Information." You know, like Joseph Goebbels, Bagdad Bob, or, in our case, Biden and Blinken and crew. They have them for one reason -- 'cause it works and works very well.
