In the second shooting, lawmakers noted that there were "critical vulnerabilities" in the security of the golf course, but said federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) did not provide further information it needed on the preparation and response to the shooting.

In its final report, the House task force investigating the assassination attempts against President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday accused multiple government agencies, including the U.S. Secret Service (USSS), of failing to produce documents it requested for its probe.

Trump survived two assassination attempts earlier this year, including one in Butler, Pennsylvania, where a bullet struck his ear. The second attempt occurred in Palm Beach, Florida, in September. Trump was not injured in the second attempt.

The bipartisan panel, which released its final report into the shootings on Tuesday, said there were multiple leadership failures that contributed to the deadly shooting in Pennsylvania in July.

In the second shooting, lawmakers noted that there were "critical vulnerabilities" in the security of the golf course, but said federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) did not provide further information they needed on the preparation and response to the shooting, per Fox News.

Congress has oversight authority.

Every time I hear reports of agencies refusing to cooperate with congress, I have to ask...why in hell does congress continue to fund these agencies?

Just what are these agencies hiding?
Were these failed assassination attempts created and generated by the “Deep State”, or ordered by Joey B. and friends.

I agree. I think this is an area that Trump might be able to work with Congress on and straighten this BS out. Heads need to roll on this.

Why would they hold back incriminating evidence?

Surely it has occurred to fellow FReepers that the administrative state no longer has to obey the duly elected civilian government. The evidence is all around us. Congress is powerless. As is the Senate. The agencies they regulate have staffed and armed themselves. And President Trump’s first term was sabotaged by his own party until the Wu Han Flu was released to finish the job democrat lies were unable too.
