Red states do similar when Dem gets in. But it usually gets stalled in the courts.
It’s a smart idea to try. Arizona border law failed but Texas is making gains. All red states should jump on prevent state legislation while SCOTUS is more friendly.
My sister mainlines dem propaganda and focuses on Project 2025 as Trump’s agenda. Her response when I tell her that Trump has not indorsed it is “Trump is such a liar!”

Well, hopefully that will keep them out of trouble doing nothing for a while.
Do leftist politicians watch nothing but CNN and MSNBC? Project 2025 is not a thing for the Trump administration. The best I can tell, P2025 comes from a GOPe “think tank” that issues their wish-list every year or two to keep themselves relevant and the money rolling in. They don’t actually work to get conservative policies passed into being.

WA State Supreme Court voted 4 for and 5 against, letting the Green River Killer out of prison, so he would be safe from Covid in prison. The State courts are literally insane.
Fellow (red county) Washingtonian, we’re screwed, Ferguson will be much worse than Inslee if that’s possible 😬.
