Two Lacey parents are facing criminal charges, including assault and attempted kidnapping, after several bystanders had to step in to stop a father from strangling his daughter outside a school.
The incident happened outside Timberline High School on Oct. 18. The girl’s parents, Ihsan and Zahraa Ali were both arrested after the confrontation, and court records indicate it could be related to a possible ‘honor killing.'
According to court records, the 17-year-old victim told investigators her father had recently been threatening her with an ‘honor killing’ after she refused to go to another country for an arranged marriage with an older man. She reportedly went to her school for help, which then led to the confrontation outside.
“The dad was on his back, and his daughter was on top of him, and he had her in a choke hold,” Josh Wagner, who witnessed the incident, told KOMO News.
Wagner was driving with his family near Timberline High School on Oct. 18 when he noticed what he thought was a group of kids fighting, but as he jumped in to break up the fight, he realized it was a man choking a teenage girl.
“It was pretty angering. I didn't know what was going on, why it was happening,” Wagner said. “All the kids were screaming, yelling.”
Court records state Ihsan Ali was choking his 17-year-old daughter “to the point where she had lost consciousness” as other students, including the girl’s boyfriend, tried to pull her away.
“What I saw was the adult male had the teenager in a headlock, choking her from the back, so I removed his arm from her, and then she got up and ran with another kid, who come to find out, was her boyfriend and she was the daughter of the adult male,” Wagner said. “So then I just held him on the ground till the police arrived and then handcuffed him and searched him and then moved him to the police car.”
According to court documents, the girl’s mother, Zahraa Ali, was also grabbing at the girl and choking her. Investigators said the girl’s father also punched her boyfriend.
“He proceeded to black out and punch my son in the face and proceeded to try to kill his daughter,” Victor Barnes, whose son was one of the students trying to stop the attack, said. Court documents state the girl eventually got away and ran into the school screaming, “My dad was trying to kill me, he was trying to kill me,” which prompted a lockdown as school staff blocked the girl’s parents from getting to her.
“This isn’t right, and the more we continue to allow these types of actions to take place in a society where what the climate is what it is right now post-election, there's just no place for that type of activity anywhere,” Barnes said.
“A lot of these stories exist, a lot of these stories are out here, some aren’t able to be heard for whatever reason,” Barnes added. “I just want people to be aware these stories do exist.”
KOMO News reached out to the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to see if they are investigating the Ali family but were told child welfare records are confidential. North Thurston Public Schools told KOMO News in a statement:
“We work with families, staff, and law enforcement partners to maintain safety and security on our campuses, and we take student and staff safety extremely seriously. When unique situations arise, we work with concerned parties to provide a safe learning environment, and we are doing so in this case.”
The suspects are due back in court on Nov. 20 for a pre-trial hearing.

What happens to society’s as the Muslim population grows in percentage of the total?
In the book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat, written by Dr. Peter Hammond, he explores the topic of the impact that an increasing Muslim population has on that society. The lists below illustrate the Muslim population status of countries around the world, and exactly what changes to the societies can be expected according to Hammond.
The book as well as the author are controversial, but the topic is definitely something that needs to be explored and understood. From the book:
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:
United States — Muslim 0.6%
Australia — Muslim 1.5%
Canada — Muslim 1.9%
China — Muslim 1.8%
Italy — Muslim 1.5%
Norway — Muslim 1.8%
At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs.
This is happening in:
Denmark — Muslim 2%
Germany — Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom — Muslim 2.7%
Spain — Muslim 4%
Thailand — Muslim 4.6%
From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for
Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.
When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in:
Guyana — Muslim 10%
India — Muslim 13.4%
Israel — Muslim 16%
Kenya — Muslim 10%
Russia — Muslim 15%
After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:
Ethiopia — Muslim 32.8%
At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:
Bosnia — Muslim 40%
Chad — Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon — Muslim 59.7%
From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and ***ya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ — the Islamic House of Peace. Here there’s supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Yemen — Muslim 100%
Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

What is this “stories are out there” and “stories exist” crap? This is not a case of bad story-telling.
We grew up with “In 1492 Colombus sailed the ocean blue”
Later I learned that 1492 was the year Spain completed their 800 year struggle to rid them of Islam. Thomas Jefferson sent the Marines to quell Islam.
I hope and pray that Israel can finish their work in Gaza, Lebanon, and elsewhere.
