I would rather see Constitutional CCW
Being targeted as a potential CCW with follow up by LE harrassment because of that potential bothers me.

Knife laws are also bothersome as they change from state to state, county to county, and municipality to municipality. Types of tips, the number of edges, length are all subject to restriction depending on the immediate location of the blade.

Martial arts weapons are also highly regulated, I guess drumsticks MIGHT be legal.

If my driver’s license is good in all states, why not my carry license? I don’t see how reciprocity doesn’t already exist in all states. Has it never been tried?

I assume he’d have to get this through the house, senate then sign it? Or would this be “EO”? I don’t like the EO route because then every president pushes it our further making congress irrelevant.
