I balanced my own checkbook, I didn’t bother filling out college forms as I signed up for the US Navy at 17 and 7 months, on the Delayed Entry Program, and would ship out when I was 18 and 6 months for boot camp.
Got out 4 years later knowing I was glad I skipped college, and joined the work force full time. I’ve worked pretty much non-stop since 1988 in a full time position, somewhere.

I believe it was Tun Tavern.
It’s a famous Marine “bar”.

Burned down during the Revolution Tun Tavern is being rebuilt in Philadelphia in time for the USMC 250th birthday in 2025. The Tun Tavern in Atlantic City is suing for trademark infringement.
