The program should never have been started in the first place. It's much harder to end a government give-away than it is to simply never implement it.

Adams has been victimized by Justice Department lawfare likely because he stepped out of line on the illegal immigration issue. He likely is corrupt but no more so than any other big city politician. Also, Federal funding for financial support of the illegals will dry up in three months. While Harris carried New York, her margin of victory was 10 percentage points lower than Biden's in 2020. Trump did better in his home town than any GOP Presidential candidate since 1988.
