A glum-looking Nancy Pelosi avoided The Post’s questions Wednesday about her role in swapping in Kamala Harris for President Biden as the 2024 Democratic nominee — after getting in a tense discussion with ex-Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile ahead of the vice president’s concession speech at Howard University.
“Do you think it was a mistake to kick Joe Biden off the ballot?” The Post inquired as the former House speaker left the event.
The 84-year-old Pelosi, who was elected Tuesday to a 20th term representing her San Francisco-based district in the House, ignored all inquiries — including one about whether she expected to run again in 2026.

Let’s face it, Biden had mental problem’s that everyone could see. (Oh wait, it was AI deepfakes.) But in U.S. presidential elections, incumbency is a huge advantage. They probably should have stuck with him.

She’s one nasty beotch, but the Grim Reaper has her number, and hopefully it won’t be too much longer before this demon returns to its big daddy.

I can’t imagine any democrat with aspirations for 2028 wanted Kammy to win in 2024. Or Biden, for that matter. It will be difficult enough to recover from 4 years of economic disaster Now they have a clear slate, Kammy is out of the picture, and they can all run on change. Besides, all parasites know that they need to allow the host to recover a little in between bites.
I was going to say that Donna Brazile could easily take Nancy Pelosi in a grudge match. After all, Brazile is younger and heavier.
But wait. Pelosi is a scrapper from way back. She probably has brass knuckles in her purse. So advantage Pelosi.

That and no debate with Trump. Make any excuse. Say you won’t debate a hater, or whatever. But no debate with Trump.
They should have created a Max Headroom version of Biden, and he could have debated Trump.

I seriously doubt Biden would’ve won. They should’ve had an emergency primary or installed a better candidate.
They screwed themselves with a crappy campaign at the tail end of a crappy term which saw runaway inflation, multiple wars, escalating crime and heaven knows how many millions of “refugees”. I’m OK with asylum for truly persecuted people, but making every economic migrant a “refugee” is bad policy.
And so with nothing to run on, they ran against Trump. A horrible strategy of the worst sort of name calling I can recall. They couldn’t sell that strategy despite near unanimity among legacy media/news/cable channels. It was fake as all get out, and surprising so many people either fell for it, or went along with it. Nothing joyful or optimistic about any of it.
And the dems blew $1 billion and are $20 million in debt, while Trump spent about $345 million and has something like a $50 million surplus. This doesn’t include all the “in kind” contribution of mass media slandering Trump daily.

Biden was doomed straight up. No shot. In retrospect l don’t know who could have won.

I think so. Say "no debate with a convicted felon for the dignity of the office". Have the NYT and the WaPo back them up with a series of phony "bombshells". But no debate.
They didn't and I suspect I know why - they got his moldering corpse across the line once and might do it again but no way Pedo Joe is going to last four more years without making it so obvious that he's incompetent that even the Republicans might help put the skids under him for the good of the country. And that would cost the Dems bigly. And they'd get Kammy anyway.
