What a load of garbage. So the gaslighting is “The cost has been high for a long time, but the economy is doing well, but people are too dumb to appreciate it.”

Old lady Yellen is another Bidenskyyyyyy carnival sideshow loon. She hasn’t got a clue. Until Biden and Harris came along, the cost of living wasn’t what I’m have to pay now. We need a law that requires politicians and government employees to do their own shopping and buy their own fuel and electricity. They should be required to live in the real world. Not the same world occupied by illegal aliens where the U.S. taxpayers have to pay for everything for them.

The “smoking” is smoke coming from her shriveled brain that is smoking. I wonder if she has as yet figured out how inflation works. Some time ago she said she didn’t have a clue. What a perfect DEI incompetent dunce.

Liars lie
The “inflation reduction act” was responsible for what we’re seeing now. Along with all the hundreds of billions being handed out like Halloween candy. Pelosi, Shumer, all the Dems in congress and the Senate (where QueMala cast the tie-breaking vote), and Biden’s handlers bear full responsibility for all of this.
Panic has set in and the left is squirming. So good to see this.

Non stop right now.

When I came to Florida in 1994 a decent house could be had for $65,000.

My Democratic neighbors to the west bought their 1996 ~3,000 square foot house for $175,000 about the time Obama took office.

She is not that bright. She is only in the job she’s in because of her sex. So this is what we can expect.

The inflation took off just after Biden killed the Keystone pipeline. Killing Keystone sent hydrocarbon fuel prices soaring, which sent food prices soaring, which sent housing prices soaring.

The cost of a house in gold has remained pretty stable for a hundred years, or more. It’s when the house is priced in dollars, it becomes unaffordable.

Completely wrong.

The $2 trillion bill by Biden was the tipping point that sparked the inflation. We did not have that before. And his energy policies also increased costs.

Yes indeed.

And this is the same person who claimed for that period of time it was just “transitory” - now she claims it was always around?

Shifting narratives.

Yellon could be Kamala’s mother. Neither one shows any part of an ability to provide use in the world.

You can adjust to any cost of living just so long as wages go up to match it. Just look at old shows (or shows placed in the past) or old advertisements. In Mad Med, a character around 1960 was buying a nice two bedroom New York apartment for $35,000. But on his salary it was a stretch. Now I could buy a few at that price.

You can even adjust to a constant, expected rate of inflation by having cost of living adjustments and higher interest rates so your cash in the bank isn't destroyed. Taxes on capital "gains" and on the inflation covering interest are a bug problem.

The worst is surprisingly high inflation. That is why Bidenflation was a killer. It isn't the high cost of living but rather the much suddenly higher cost of living. Yellen is trying to cover for the current crisis by pointing out that we survived the first hundred years of the Federal Reserve destroying 96% of the value of the dollar.
