“Cuomo’s going for mayor. Can’t stop Cuomo from going for mayor. And no matter what anyone says about our current mayor he has done some good things. Could happen a candidate is some rich man — big money, wants importance, do good, get his name around — like maybe Ron Lauder. Or underestimated Long Island congressman Lee Zeldin. I’m more behind the scenes. I don’t get credit for things.”

“Listen,” she told me, “My mother’s mother was abused. My mother uneducated. Raised three kids, some half siblings. Mom met dirt poor dad in Ireland in eighth grade. Life was trailer park. Next we lived over a gas station. Grampa was a servant. I wore used clothing. I’m now very empathetic. This life today means everything to me.”

“And I care about the Jewish problem. Discrimination is violation. Hamas must be defeated. Laws need be changed. School teachers have to be accountable. To fight hate crimes. There has to be education in schools. I understand that New Yorkers are under siege right now.”

Wow, I can’t believe someone got to stay at the governor’s mansion and got paid for writing that.

Seriously horrendous writing.

Grampa was a servant.

So he had a job? Good for him!

I wore used clothing.

Those are properly called "hand-me-downs," and in those days, every younger sibling wore his older siblings' passed-down clothes. (Luckily, I had older brothers, instead of older sisters, else I probably would have been the target of a lot of teasing by the other kids in school.)

Regards,

"She almost sounds human."

Except she's as dumb as Diane Feinstein having a Chi-com spy as her top aide for years. Linda Sun was born in China, and had been working for NY State for 15 years. She worked her way up into the Executive Chamber where the FBI said she worked to advance Chi-Com influence in the State government. These RAT politicians are clueless.

Hochul's grandparents immigrated from Ireland. Maybe grandma met grandpa in Ireland, but Pa was born in Buffalo. They do not have residential trailer parks in Ireland. It appears the writer got the facts confused.

Kathy Hochul’s Parents – Kathy’s Irish parents instilled in her a passion for public service

by Chege Karomo – on Aug 11, 2021 in People

[excerpt]

Jack and Pat worked to keep the family’s Irish roots alive. Kathy’s grandparents fled from Ireland to the United States in the late 1800s in search of better economic opportunities. The family settled in Buffalo and created a haven where Irish-Catholic families like theirs could settle.

“My grandparents helped start the first Buffalo Irish Center,” Kathy told The Irish Echo. “He [Jack] really took advantage of the experiences and had a chance to really talk about our Irish heritage a lot.”

“My father, son of immigrants, started married life in a trailer, worked at a steel plant, and college at night.

the excerpt was snipped, so hard to tell if the writer had anything intelligible to offer.

How dumb is Hochul?
She didnt know there was a Chinese spy working in her office?
The spy was living in a $3.5 million dollar home and driving around in several luxury cars.

Linda Sun served as the deputy chief diversity officer in the administration of New York state governor Andrew Cuomo (2018–2020), and deputy chief of staff to his successor, governor Kathy Hochul (2021–2022).

Hochul’s employee Linda Sun was Charged As an Agent of China and the Chinese Communist Party Husband and co-defendant Chris Hu charged with money laundering

Tuesday, September 3, 2024
For Immediate Release
U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of New York

Defendant Engaged in Political Activities in the Interests of the CCP and With Her Co-Defendant Husband Conspired to Launder the Proceeds of Their Unlawful Activities

BROOKLYN, NY – Earlier today, in federal court in Brooklyn, an indictment was unsealed charging Linda Sun with violating and conspiring to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act, visa fraud, alien smuggling, and money laundering conspiracy. Sun is alleged to have acted on behalf of the government of the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”) and the Chinese Communist Party (the “CCP”).

Sun’s husband and co-defendant Chris Hu was also charged with money laundering conspiracy, as well as conspiracy to commit bank fraud and misuse of means of identification.

Sun and Hu were arrested this morning and are scheduled to be arraigned later today before United States Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo. Breon Peace, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Matthew G. Olsen, Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, Christie M. Curtis, Acting Assistant Director in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, New York Field Office (FBI), and Thomas M. Fattorusso, Special Agent in Charge, Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), announced the prosecution.

“As alleged, while appearing to serve the people of New York as Deputy Chief of Staff within the New York State Executive Chamber, the defendant and her husband actually worked to further the interests of the Chinese government and the CCP,” stated United States Attorney Breon Peace. “The illicit scheme enriched the defendant’s family to the tune of millions of dollars. Our Office will act decisively to prosecute those who serve as undisclosed agents of a foreign government.”

Mr. Peace expressed his appreciation to the Department of Justice’s National Security Division, the New York State Office of the Inspector General, the New York State Police and the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) for their work on the case. He also thanked the New York State Executive Chamber for its cooperation with the investigation.

Hochul and Cuomo were totally ignorant of top aides’s Communist activities.

Sun was born in Nanjing then moved from China to the United States with her parents at the age of five, and later became a naturalized U.S. citizen.

She received an undergraduate degree in political science from Barnard College in 2006, and in 2009 earned a master’s degree in education from Columbia University.

Prior to her positions with Cuomo and Hochul, Sun began her career in public service in New York state’s legislative branch in 2009, holding a variety of positions, including chief of staff to an assemblywoman, Grace Meng, who is now a U.S. representative.

In 2012 the Cuomo administration hired Sun as its director of Asian American affairs and Queens regional representative. She was then appointed director of external affairs for Empire State Development, which handles economic development across the state.

Prior to becoming deputy chief of staff for the Hochul administration, she also worked briefly for the New York State Department of Financial Services.

She left Hochul’s executive chamber after roughly 15 months, moving on to a position at the New York State Department of Labor in November 2022 then worked as a campaign manager for Austin Cheng, a Democrat who unsuccessfully ran for Congress in New York’s 3rd congressional district.
