Nolte: Donald Trump Jumps to Two-Point Lead in National Poll

Last week, RMG Research had the 2024 national race tied at 49 percent between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. Today, Trump leads by two points, 49 to 47 percent.

The week prior to that, in this same poll, Kamala was beating Trump by five points, 47 to 42 percent.

Without including leaners, Trump has gone from being down five points to being up by one. That’s a six-point gain.

When leaners are included, Trump has gone from being down one point to being up by two points—a three-point gain.

Kamala is starting to show her communist leanings and she is damn proud of them. The gimmedats were already voting for her, but mushy independents hear "Price controls," and they don't see a policy; they see a proven failed policy.

I see a slight bump for the Imbicile after the DNC, and then in a week or 2, the media will be apoplectic that her honeymoon will appear to be over. Look at how hysterical the NYT and the Wahington Post are getting. They know they have a turd on their hands. She peaked too early, and yes, that is a thing. I guess the “bump” in the polls for “Que mala” Harris and “Gov’ner Tim Walz is about over. Good run while it lasted, they just peaked too soon.

Now they are gonna hafta do some ‘splainin’. Might even have to answer questions to the press corps, not all of which may be softballs.

This team may not have the lock on the nomination they think they have. Not necessarily a coronation.

Yet another poll that indicates Trump needs to find an effective way to target Kennedy voters. It’s clear at this point Kennedy is hurting him more than her. Trump is pretty consistently doing better in 2-way races; the problem is, this isn’t a 2-way race.
