Rachel Maddow and other top MSNBC hosts have been using an LED screen to cover the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee from the liberal network's studio in New York City, according to a report.
Maddow, who has been leading the network's coverage of the GOP convention this week, has repeatedly appeared on air with the backdrop of the convention behind her, leading casual viewers to assume she was on the ground in Milwaukee. But Maddow and many of her colleagues, including Nicolle Wallace, Jen Psaki, Joy Reid and other MSNBC anchors have not been inside the convention hall or even in the same city, the New York Times reported Wednesday.
"Instead, they were broadcasting from a studio in Midtown Manhattan, as a live feed of the convention floor was projected onto an LED screen behind them," the Times report reads.

The sneaky types who claimed our side used “cheap fakes” are typically hypocritical.
Question: Are they planning to be in person gushing over the demigods at the Dem convention in August?
Would be funny if the tech crew made mistakes for the GOP green screen fake and like the one Police Squad movie show them in Rome and in front of the Eiffel Tower and other mistaken rear screen scenes instead of cars being passed by the police car.

Good question. If I had to guess, I’d say yes, but I’m not really sure. If they do, it will be amusing to hear their explanation for why they attended one and not the other.
If the Democrats have an open convention then they’ll be able to use that as an excuse. If they stick with Biden they’ll have to come up with something else.

No male genders?
Kinda like a night time edition of The View.
Maybe they can claim gender diversity by counting Butch Madcow in the male column.
So she’s the Milli Vanilli of convention coverage?
They will soon really use “cheap fakes” of Biden lifting heavy weights* and looking like a WWE wrestler, then running in sweats, followed by skipping rope like a prize fighter.
Like Forrest Gump they can put Joe anywhere. Addressing the crowd in place of Martin Luther King. Anything heroic.
Psychologist on Catholic radio Dr. Ray Guarendi still actually lifts weights (probably in his 60s now).
He said: “Us guys used to kid each other at the gym about working out with two plates and then three plates and seeing what each of us could clear with the full barbell workouts.
I used to make it to the three plates when I was younger but now only do that at the all you can eat buffets.”
Yes! Apparently the other networks, including CNN were their in person, or at some of them.
WGAF? What they showed was happening and they were lying. How many watched? The 6 or 7 dumbshits that watch them.
Why does it matter? Because they made a choice to not go and mix with the crowd, talk to them etc., or to report on the sentiment among attendees. That’s something you can only cover by actually being there. Maddow, and co. were afraid of showing up in person and having their finely crafted narrative challenged in person. Instead, they stayed in their bubble where they couldn’t have their ideas challenged. But they wanted to create the illusion that this was not the case.
Big plus for Milwaukee that these wretched ***** were not there.
True.
A little vintage MSNBC coverage of the 2016 election to cheer everyone up.

Suits them perfect. They’re all liars anyway...
Theyre fake news, as usual.
Do you think they would change their narrative? Do you think it would make a difference in their opinions? What exactly do you think it would add?

No male genders?”
Raymond Madcow isn’t male enough?
>>What exactly do you think it would add?
It would demonstrate that they’re not afraid to talk to grassroots Republicans. It would also demonstrate a willingness to let their viewers hear what the other side has to say and what it believes rather than taking their word for it.
Yes. Heaven forbid a MSNBC witch actually encounter a living Trump supporter. They might catch something like a fever for freedom.
