The Democratic National Committee is pressing forward with a virtual roll call to renominate President Biden as more Democrats call on him to end his reelection campaign.
The Democratic National Convention’s Rules Committee met Friday to start discussing the rules for the virtual roll call and agreed to meet again by July 26 to vote on the rules. If approved, the DNC chair, Jaime Harrison, and the convention chair, Minyon Moore, will set a date for the virtual roll call.

Food for thought: The dem party wanted Trump out of the race, and we’ve seen how they handled that. Should biden be worried?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone change so physically as Biden has. And whose idea is it for him to stop getting haircuts? He’s starting to look really unkempt.
So then, since they are bypassing the BS primary they held in each state, are they going to reimburse each state district for the costs of putting on a sham?
Second, if he is not able to run for office, how do they address his competency to run the world as he recently said he does, or more accurately the executive branch of the US?
Each newly announced/constructed candidate must do what to qualify? If state party leaders coordinate amongst each other is that not a restraint of trade?? If they lie about it using the mail or phones, is that not a RICO predicate?? Can we put all dem party in jail, or better, expel them from the US if they have violated their self described US democracy??

No doubt Kamala is as interested in the virtual roll call as Joe. It would secure her position as the nominee if Joe drops out, or at least keeps her as VP, and if re-elected, eventually the President.
Deep dementia patients like Joe are just too unreliable and unpredictable.
There is no way they are gonna let him wander off the reservation.

I'm going to suggest that the motives for doing this are a headfake.They want us to believe that they are accelerating the nominating process in order to lock Biden in ASAP, perhaps to avoid a floor fight at the convention [or meet state filing deadlines].
I'm suggesting that the Democrat party insiders want to nominate Biden sooner because they can then force Biden out and take advantage of DNC rules to replace the duly nominated candidate with a candidate of the DNC leadership's choice. This candidate would then appear at the DNC Convention as the party's duly chosen candidate.
If they cancel the virtual nomination and wait for the DNC Convention, chaos will result from a brokered convention. The DNC elite aren't doing this to avoid a brokered convention, they are doing to lock out the delegates from the decision entirely.

Harris is the one at risk.
Biden will do whatever his handlers tell him to do. It is only a matter of reaching terms with the Biden family and the faction that put Biden in office. The Deep State has plenty of money for that. Immunity from prosecution? It can be arranged. Maybe the Biden family is not quite trusting on that last point. They are holding out for assurances from people who cannot be trusted. How unfortunate for them.
Harris is a more difficult problem. Even more stupid than Biden and less controllable. She is the one the "Deep State" people are more likely to have assassinated.
They will arrange to make it look like a Trump supporter does the deed. That illusion will not hold up even under the most superficial inspection.
Roll call to ensue as soon as they find 106 translators.
