One party is having its convention right now. There used to be a time when that event was respected and those on the other side refrained from any appearances of trying to interfere. Both Biden and Harris having been making public statements throughout the convention.

First of all, the VP is a position holder. The only official duty they have is to be a tie breaker in the Senate. They aren’t required to approve of anything the president does. And their number 1 job is to SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT.
