It is growing more costly to enjoy a celebratory meal on Independence Day in President Joe Biden’s (D) economy.

In an email Wednesday, RNC Research pointed to the fact Americans will see the “most expensive Independence Day on Record” this year.

“After the Biden White House attempted to brag about the price of an Independence Day barbeque going down by $0.16 in 2021, the same meal has since increased by $11.72 since then,” the email read, citing the American Farm Bureau Federation.

Remember what the WH showed as the BBQ meal back then? I believe it had ground beef without buns.

Tuna salad, coleslaw (home made), carrot, pineapple & raisin salad. Inflation day.

Then after darkness falls, I’ll watch the pyromaniacs down the street and their interpretive renderering of E.P. Alexander’s Confederate artillery barrage that was to clear the way for Pickett’s Charge. I live in a strange rural enclave, but everyone is cordial enough.

No, the number represents the change in the price of the BBQ meal. In other words, the 2021 meal was $0.16 cheaper in 2021 than the year before. The disastrous Biden economic policies had not yet taken effect, so the decrease in prices was due to Trump's policies. The $11.72 increase in price reflects the Biden policies.

WHAT BBQ? 2 hamburgers and 2 ears of corn is not a BBQ. Not even a tomato to go on it. I no longer buy store-bought, too many are bad or have dangerous coatings on them. Mine are still green due to rainy weather and cold spring late planting, No roadside markets with local ones, not till late July.

Shrinkflation is not included. Nor gas included.

Years ago when inflated gas prices really started to show up (under Obama?), the gov’t conveniently removed food and distillate fuels from the index. Over time, comparing prices is an apples/oranges nightmare.

Trots out “Veterans” on the “4th of July” which is NOT a Federal Holday. Independence Day is the name of the day which is a holiday in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence from Great Britain and the start of the American Revolution creating the United States of America.

All this clown is doing is sidelining our Country and abusing Veterans (whom he will not address most likely and if he does these will not be from Afghanistan- and if they’re stupid, they might be Marines who would be ordered to show up. Sick stuff).

I hope that the City of Chicago passes out free ear plugs for all the fireworks and loud gunshots this weekend.
