I went to 54 minutes and I think it was about arresting Garland. Did they specifically mention PRISON with multi-year sentence? Or is the possibility of probation included in this report?

I would assume that a "multi-year" sentence is going to happen given the number of felonies Merchan is sentencing on. But are we reporting specifically about a multi-year PRISON sentence here?

Good point. It could be a multi-year “suspended” sentence. But they way Merchan has played this so far, it likely means jail. But I am hopeful Trump has many avenues of appeal both in NY and under federal due process precedents. The man was simply not given a fair trial and there are several recent court cases where conviction was overturned both in NY and at the USSC over elements that were very similar to the way Trump was railroaded. See my post above re: Harvey Weinstein and the USSC decision Ramos v. Louisiana (2020) and maybe Erlinger v USA (2024) which mentions the 6th Amendment convictions must be unanimous on all counts for each alleged crime. No split decisions and lump them into one like Merchan allowed.

But these are crimes in which nobody goes away for years….. this man is setting up the easiest appeal in history with these antics….. as usual the left overreaches and will have the effect they think it will. Trump is not a flight risk , there will no reason for him not being bailed while awaiting appeal.

Yes, Mike Davis did say a multi-year sentence for Trump is a sure bet -.but in the sane breath, he added that there is NO WAY this Supreme Court will let it be carried out.
