I’m not completely understanding every single facet of what’s going on. Is there ANY remedy looming out there that could make this not happen? For Trump or for Bannon?
What about the effort Johnson supposedly began last week?
A total blackade of Manhattan by a thousand semis on the highway entrances, a thousand private boats on the Hudson and East rivers, and a thousand drones in the Manhattan skies. The best result would be if Hochul calls out the National Guard, and they flip and join the insurrection.
The time for nice nice has ended. We don't have to be violent: we just have to stand our ground.

The Court turned Johnson down.
The appeal that the Trump team has surely prepared. I don’t know if they have to wait for sentencing to appeal or if it’s imminently going to be filed. But that is probably the main solution to this wicked dilemma right off the bat
Bannon is toast. The USSC refused his appeal so he will have to report. For Trump there should be many avenues of appeal available to him.
For Trump, yes - the remedy is that there is NO CHANCE that the Supreme Court will let an obviously partisan NY circuit judge throw Donald J. Trump, a past and soon to be future POTUS, in prison. No chance. Zip. Zero. Nada.
As we saw from today’s 6-3 SC ruling on Presidential immunity, at least 6 of them understand that without immunity, the office of the Presidency is ruined for all time. It would literally be the end of the Republic if Presidents could criminalize the actions of past Presidents.
Trump will get sentenced but he won’t serve any time.
Unfortunately, Steve Bannon’s case is different. Although his conviction is equally unjust (for exactly the same reason), he is just not big enough to cause the Supreme Court to see his unjust imprisonment as “Republic ending”.
