Desert heat is pretty bearable as long as it’s not near 110. IMO with the Mojave Desert and Bakersfield.
Our humidity hovers around 50%, so 90 degrees feels hot and clammy. But 80-85 isn’t bad. And my dry eyes and skin/hair like the bit of moisture in the air. I do miss those inexpensive swamp coolers!! Cheap to buy and Cheap to run!
Corpus Christie was 90 for both, never cooling down at night. Couldn’t leave fast enough!
I’m sure he will have a certain amount of PTSD, especially knowing how close he was to death.
That is such a chilling thought.
It probably hasn’t even fully set in yet. It usually takes a few days, sometimes longer.
He’s strong and he’ll be OK, but I hope he talks it through with someone professional.
I’m praying for him as I know many of us are.
No, it’s still in the future right now. I think the adrenaline is still high. He’s lived a very exciting and busy life, but I’ll bet this is the closest he’s ever come to death. It is a shock, I don’t care how tough you are.
I hope he talks to someone, too, but would he even admit to this kind of weakness? There was still a look in his eyes.....

JP is very good. That is pretty funny, in a scary way.
It is quite amazing how much is being said out in the open now - everyone is aware of the state of our governments now.....crooked as crooked can be. We’re joking about so many things that are quite stunning. Everyone laughing, for instance, about Hillary and her body count. Trudeau and his perversions and thieving. So much exposed, and all because of one man. Little wonder he has taken a bullet.
Well, I’ve never seen that guy before, but I think I like him. LOL!

Last night was very emotional seeing Trump at the convention.
What a momentous day for him!
Vanquishing Jack Smith, forcing Biden to provide SS protection for RFK Jr., announcing JD Vance as his VP, and appearing before the convention and a worldwide audience last night.
All in one day.
He has been given a great task—to awaken the world to help free it from those who would destroy humanity.
None of us truly understand the importance and weight of his role now.
He is a changed man, more equipped by God for his role than ever before.
We are watching history unfold before us—such a momentous time.
Thank you for breakfast.

Beautifully stated. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Watching President Trump filled with emotion, wet eyes, was a side of him I’ve never seen.
It sounds comical but I don’t know how else to express what I witnessed last night. Remember the scene in Cecil B Demiles Ten Commandants where Yule Brenner banished Moses to the desert? During that time of wandering in a hostile environment, God forged Moses into the man his people needed and God knew he was capable of becomming. And this is the man I saw last night walk into that Convention Hall, A man who has faced an extreme hostile environment that God used to forge him into a face for Mount Rushmore.
I am still stunned by it all, the horror of it and the miracle of it. So much is riding on him, so much has been thrown at him. He, unlike any other president in my memory, is not a politician or even a statesman ... he is a founding father, separated from the others by 250 years.
My son said he may have PTSD. I think he just looked pensive, like a guy that was just close to getting killed.
