A few miles away while this was happening, a car with 5 people in speeding in a neighborhood, lost control, hit a tree, flipped so violently one of the victims was ejected and actually landed on top of a roof of a nearby home. It’s being speculated that victim was ejected out the sunroof. That crash happened in Monterey Park...East of Downtown LA...The street take over happened in the area south of Downtown Los Angeles...Not a good area to live in...
Monterey Park is not a bad place to live in...Compared to South Los Angeles...
That crash in Monterey Park involved a Hispanic family...Monterey Park is mostly Hispanic and Asian...

From the west side of Monterey Park to just south of downtown LA is only about 3 miles apart.
