“WHY do Public Prosecutors have a Union?”

That was my first question, too.

There should be NO teacher’s unions or government unions at any level. You have the government “negotiating” against itself and the constantly screwed taxpayer never has a seat at the table.

How often is there some sort of conflict of interest issue when a Prosector (as a member of a Union) has to prosecute or NOT prosecute a fellow union member?

Or, some sort of member of another union that is somehow connected/ affiliated/ etc to the prosecutors’ union?

How do you get any sort “appearance of impartiality”. And in that scenario, if ALL prosectors are members, how could you get around it?
