There is the factor of evil as you state, grante but I still think with a lot of these people stupid plays a big part. And lack of a decent education.
I have a sister-in-law who is a retired public school teacher with a masters degree. And I have to tell you the stupid is strong in that one.
I have met and known educated people that are stupid, and uneducated people that are intelligent. You know which ones I prefer.
