To any FREEPERS who know more than I do, “How does the election results today change any gung ho, let’s go and wipe out Russians in the Ukraine.?’ Is this ‘shift’ telling the military complex MOST Europeans don’t want a war?
It seems twisted to say that this politician suffered a right wing election victory.
His left wing suffered a left wing election loss. He lost. His side lost. He didn’t suffer a victory. He suffered a loss.
But the media cannot bring itself to type “left wing election loss”. So they have to say this guy suffered a right wing election victory.
In Europe, “Right wing” means anything close to the center or left of center. There is no equivalent category to American conservative principals. In Europe, they are ALL socialist at a varying level of degree.
Can the US use the same voting apparati? If not, we’re sunk.
All those Belgians look like birds.
Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Belgium and more. All over the EU, conservatives, particularly anti-immigration conservatives, made significant gains. This is only the EU Parliament, but a political shift is occurring.
