A male suspect has been arrested for assaulting Denmark's liberal leader
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was assaulted on a public square in Copenhagen on Friday. Police have arrested a male suspect, and Frederiksen is not believed to be seriously injured.
The attack took place at Kultorvet square in the center of the Danish capital. Prior to the attack Frederiksen had been campaigning with her party's lead European election candidate, Christel Schaldemose, according to local media reports.
"Mette Frederiksen was today assaulted and beaten by a man on Kultorvet in Copenhagen. Mette is naturally shocked by the attack. I must say that it shakes all of us who are close to her," Environment Minister Magnus Heunicke wrote in a statement on social media.
Frederiksen's office said that the prime minister was shocked by the incident, but offered no further comment. An unnamed source told Denmark's Ekstra Bladet newspaper that Frederiksen was not seriously injured, but was left "very shaken."
Police have taken a male suspect into custody, DR News reported.

Downtown Copenhagen is quite scary.
We went there few years ago and not knowing it, we reserved hotel in Downtown.
The hotels looked like a fort, armed with all kind of passive protections.
In the evening it went kind of scary, my wife and daughter were walking in some distance ahead of me, and were attacked by some foreign looking man who did not realize I am behind them. I just jumped in and he run away!
But it was scarier than I have ever felt in the USA.
Coulter’s Law is when you have an attack that attracts some notoriety and the media fails to mention the race or nationality, you automatically know it’s a protected class, in this case Muslim, in the USA it could be Muslim or African American.

In this case we will need a new term to describe what is a blanket Western news embargo that only Russians will report. Odd that the West is so woke that we have to get our news from the Russians.

Beyond who it is what kind of security do these euro countries have for their political leaders? They clearly have not learned the lesson of Olof Palme. They sort of remind me of the naive westerners who go into dangerous areas of the world singing Kumbaya and happy thoughts and then get slaughtered. Well they’ve invited the dangerous parts of the world into their countries and somehow naively expect Kumbaya again.
I probably should amend the definition of Coulter’s Law to say anything other than a white person because the only people blamed for violence are Caucasians
The suspect arrested for assaulting Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is Polish, media in Denmark have reported.
On Friday, Frederiksen was assaulted by a man at Kultorvet Square in the center of the country’s capital. The assailant struck the prime minister with his fist on her right arm, causing her to lose balance and suffer a minor cervical spine injury.
