CNN and the dem apparatchiks are dumber than a box of rocks if they can’t see that this particular pile on helps Trump, rather than hurts.
Millions of independent and democrat voters are gun owners too and just as knee jerk about their 2A rights as all of us Maga hat wearers. It’s our most common ground.

I don’t understand. Wasn’t there just a court ruling that non violent felons could have firearms?

"After Trump was convicted of 34 felonies on May 30, 2024, in made-up crimes, he could potentially be in violation of multiple state and federal laws if he still possesses that third gun in Florida."
If the a-holes in New York City haven't officially requested he relinquish that third weapon, then he isn't in violation of anything.

"So this article may be a bit premature."
Wasn't it a bit premature for them to suspend his concealed carry license before he was even convicted of 34 misdemeanors that Bragg arbitrarily raised to felonies?

Nope... in Florida he can simply give it to Melania, and it’s no longer his. No NY or Federal Crime attaches. But thanks for playing. There are so many’s things wrong with your statement that it is both sad and laughable.

Thanks for fixing the ice skating rink, huh.
The rats in NY are ones who stink on ice.

"The NYPD can sleep well at night knowing they’re just following orders."
This isn't coming from the line officers, or anyone promoted via Civil Service exams. It's coming from the politically appointed suck-assess at the top, and likely via the Mayor.

1)The NYPD has seized 389 untraceable ghost guns so far this year — a 710% surge in such seizures since 2019, when a mere 48 were taken, police stats show. In 2022, a record-high 463 of these deadly firearms were recovered. 2023 story.
2)Around 100,000 convicted felons across the US still likely own a gun, despite being banned from doing so.
From BMJ (using guns as a “health” danger in article.)
So if Trump loses his constitutional gun rights due to corrupt lawfare then they only have 99,999 people to catch.

He can defund the ATF. Then use an Executive order and abolish all gun laws! Sounds great to me!

You are correct on all three points, however that doesn’t preclude a “mistaken” 3:00AM unannounced FBI Swat Team entry at that Florida home and an Agent being “in fear of his life” when he sees a shadow in a doorway.

Isn’t Trump a legal resident of Florida? Why does he even need a New York gun license and why should he care if it’s revoked?

New York, with this stunt, might just eventually end up changing the laws for non-violent felons and Second Amendment rights.
Occasionally, they push and they push until they push too far.
