That's what it's supposed to be. But I've heard way too many times in the media: "Attempts to prove that he's innocent", both for President Trump, and others for that matter.

I'm not convinced that even juries understand that anymore. Seems if you get accused of something, and can't prove that you DIDN'T do it, you're pretty well screwed.

Even CNN sees this entire “Case” is pure crap. Honestly all of this over a check, a CHECK..murderers dont get this type of sentence but Trump can get it over a CHECK..a CHECK!!
