Just got home....
I was expecting a lot of protestors on the way out and potential fights- nothing but Trump supporters!!!
There was an overflow crowd still standing on the rocks with Trump signs and banners.
One black woman had a huge sign that said “End the Trial” and from the sign hung one of the pink penis shaped balloons released outside the courtroom last week.
I was a little nervous last night and thought there would be trouble after the rally heading back to the subway- it was as though the south Bronx was taken over by Trump supporters of all colors and stripes.
We get to the subway platform and there are a group of people wearing shirts that say, “Puerto Ricans for Trump”
On the other side is an older black couple with a sign, “New York is Trump country!!”
