Fear-mongering conspiracy theory.
Does anyone think humanity can stop planetary evolution just because it’s not convenient? If the sea level rises we will adjust. There will be losers and winners. That’s life.
Would it mostly affect the Pacific, Atlantic, or Indian Ocean...or all three equally?
oh wow! IF only there were some way that i could get rid of all my money to stop it!
We better get vaxxed to stop it from melting.

Where all the sea level dooms day folks go wrong is that they view the earth’s crust as a static, more or less immovable thing. The crust under the oceans is thinner on the whole and it can flex in the face of vast additional downward pressures. Adding trillions of tons of water weight to the system would deflect the ocean bottom downward; which would offset any sea level rise by quite a bit. Granted, that added pressure will cause an uplift in adjacent areas which in turn means an increase to earthquake and volcanic activity in various parts of the planet as a new equilibrium is established.
So much bull flop…so little time
I live around 100 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. People who operate sand pits in the region say that they often come across shells and other evidence our area was once at the bottom of the sea. Also with farmers who say the same things are unearthed from plowing. What goes around, come around!! We are not in control.
High concentration of volcanoes here
My oceanfront mansion is doomed.
What? I don’t own an oceanfront mansion?
Never mind.
And we’re somehow responsible for that?? Nature wil do what it’s gonna do.
Nuke the glacier, its the only way.
Area of world’s oceans is 140,000,000 square miles. Area glacier 73,000 square miles. Glacier roughly 1/2000 area of oceans.
Depth ice sheet between 0.5 and 0.75 mi. Say averaging 3500 feet.
So if the whole thing melted at once 3500 vertical ft of water spread out 2000 times the area, I guess you get 1.8 feet ocean rise. Roughly.
IF ANYONE could please post the graph of Greenland Ice Core Global Temperatures for the last 12000 years I would appreciate it.
I need it to show a Global Warming believer that I work with. I can not find it on the internet.
Maybe it will wash away Zuckerberg’s Island Paradise that he’s stealing from native Hawaiians.
