About 15 years ago someone stole the Sakagawea sculpture from a beach lookout on the Oregon coast. They drove it out of town and attempted to sell it for scrap. They were all arrested. How does someone explain why they have a chopped up well know bronze Sakagawea sculpture?

Isn’t that awful? Did they get the statue back to the park?
If the rotten leftist bastards aren’t tearing down our history and culture, the druggies are selling statues and plaques for scrap metal.
About a month ago, I took a six-day tour down the coast from Ilwaco, WA to the SF Bay Area. I spent some time at the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria and visited many lighthouses on the Oregon coast, but didn’t get a chance to stop at Clasp or the many Lewis & Clark historic points. Maybe next trip!
