Yes, Ukraine has more than its fair share of abjectly corrupt systems and politicians (I think they are a hybrid of Russian and American corruption).
No, this was was NOT about supposed “Nazis” (that was propaganda - Russia and Belarus has as high a population or more of Nazis).
The reality is - Putin is trying to get what he wants. HE chose to invade a neighboring nation (didn’t really matter which one -other than a direct invasion of a NATO nation - that’s a whole other situation). This wasn’t really even about NATO expansion - AS Putin has created his own moving border via retaking nations politically to expand his empire West-ward.
And it is Russia that has escalated this into a possibly greater war “between superpowers”.
